One of the most unique parts of Christianity is that there is always something new to be learned. Because every person is unique we try to offer two different ways to help you grow in your faith. For someone who doesn’t like that “classroom” learning experience and wants a chance to share with others and socialize while still being challenged, then our Small Groups are the perfect fit for you. But if you’re that classroom learner who wants to be taught in a more in-depth manner in a bigger group setting then you’ll want to check out one of our Bible Studies. Either way, we hope you’ll take up the challenge of growing deeper in your faith.
Small Groups:
What’s a small group? Basically we look at them as mini-classes where you meet in a local home with a small number of people, study a specific topic, interact and share with each other, and have a ton of fun all over a defined number of weeks. Our Small Groups run on a trimester calendar. Think of them as pressing the reset button every couple months so that new members can jump on-board and those that may have an upcoming conflict on that night of the week can jump out. We know that schedules shift and change, so we want to give everyone a chance to find a good fit for them, meet some people, and learn over several weeks while still having a completion date in mind.
The best time to sign up for a Small Group is definitely during our sign-up months of August, December and May. We will publicize current openings in Small Groups during this time. Groups run from September through early December, January through April, and June through August.
Watch this space for information on the groups that still have open space for you to join, their location, the time they meet, and what they are studying. If you’d like to sign up for one, just contact us with your name, phone number, and in which group you would like to be placed. We’ll have the group leader get back to you with info on the next meeting.
