Second Sunday of Each Month... Prayer Group
What better way to spend time than to come together with fellow
believers to thank God for His many blessings, pray for our
church, our nation and our personal/family needs? This prayer
group will meet at church in the sanctuary, between services on
the second Sunday of the
month. Please join us in the Sanctuary where
an Elder and Stephen Ministers will be present to lead us.

Church Picnic
Please note that we have scheduled the church picnic for August
22. It will be held at Springdale Park in Birmingham
(Woodward/16 Mile area...same location as last year). Park
Worship at 10:30a with grillin' and chillin' to follow. Park is
reserved from 10a-3p.

Anniversary Celebration... 50 Years!
On Sunday, September 13, 2009 our congregation began a year long
celebration marking the fiftieth anniversary of Cross of Christ
Lutheran Church at this location. The year long celebration
will culminate on the weekend of September 10, 2010.
