KROGER REWARDS PROGRAM HAS CHANGED
Cross of Christ has received
MORE THAN $5,000 since July of 2006 which was the inception of the
Kroger Rewards Program. The funds received from this program
are used as scholarships for those who are unable to purchase
materials for a Bible Study or attend events because of their
financial circumstance.
If you don’t have a Kroger Plus
card, stop by the customer service desk to get one. All
registration must be done online. Simply go to
www.kroger.com and find the link to "Edit
Community Rewards Program" or "Enroll." You need to use this
number - 83185 - in order to direct funds to CROSS OF CHRIST
LUTHERAN CHURCH.
Kroger has simplified the program
as of May 1, 2009. As a result of this change, you will now
only need to use your “Kroger Plus Card” at the register to help
Cross of Christ continue to receive funds. Also, once you have
exhausted your funds using the Kroger Gift Cards they will no
longer be valid or required.
If you currently use your phone
number at the register, you may also use this new simplified
program by calling 877-576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus Card
Number.
Please click
www.krogercommunityrewards.com and use the attached
directions to register. Once you are registered, by simply
shopping and using your Kroger Plus Card or phone number at the
register, you will be helping Cross of Christ to continue to
receive funds from Kroger.

The following are steps to enroll
in the Kroger Community Rewards Program:
Many groups have conveyed
to their members to RE-ENROLL in Kroger Community
Rewards. May 1st 2010 was the start of the new
earning for the upcoming year. All participants must sign up for the program in order to
earn funds for their group during 2010.
Even if you have members
who signed up for Kroger Community Rewards in February or
March—which will earned your organization funds as part of
the 05/2009 to 05/2010 program—they must sign up again in
now to continue earning rewards during the coming year
05/2010 to 05/2011.
It’s easy for your
members to enroll or re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards.
They can visit
www.krogercommunityrewards.com,
click on “Michigan” and click on “Enroll” or “re-enroll.”
All participants must have a valid online account at Kroger.com and must sign up online to participate.
Organization members can no longer scan their group’s
barcode at the registers or service desk. The
bar code was a tool for those with no computer access but
due to misuse by many groups Kroger has decided to remove
the bar codes from the program.
All participants must sign up for the program in order to
earn funds for your group during 2010.

by step instructions:
Click “Re-enroll”
if you were registered in the program last year.

Put in your password -(If
you forgot the password you set up please go thru the “Forgot
you password”)
3.
Find your organization by
typing in your organization’s NPO number
4.
Click the “Select
Your Organization”
5.
Click the”
Save Changes”
Click
“Enroll” If you
have never
been a part of Kroger Community Rewards.com, Kroger.com or
registered with the scan bar method last year.
1.
“Sign
up today” (to the right)
2.
Enter your zip code
of the Kroger in which you prefer
to shop
and
click “Search”
3.
Click on the arrow to
display the list of stores in your zip code and highlight
your preferred store
4.
Enter in your email and
password
6.
Key in you Kroger Plus
Card Number (If it says that this card has already been
used, please call the number on the back of your card)
7.
Enter the security code
(from the box above it)
8.
Enter in your contact
information.
10.
Verify that your account
information is correct. Check box for agreement of the terms
and conditions and click “complete
information”
11.
Kroger will send an email
that you entered earlier in the process. (this can take up
to 10 minutes)
12.
Open the email that
Kroger sent. Read the email and either click on the link
within the email or copy and paste it into your browser.
13.
Sign in: click on the “Click here “button and then type in your email and password.
14.
Under Kroger Community
Rewards Section at right, click “Edit Kroger Community Rewards Information.”
15.
Find your organization by
typing in your organization’s NPO number.
Enter Cross of Christ’s
Organization Number “83185”
16.
Click on the organization
name that you want. Please make sure that you click on the
circle to the left of your organization so that it becomes
highlighted.
17.
Click on
“Save Changes”
18.
Scroll over the page and
make sure all information is accurate
You are now “registered”
and Cross of Christ will receive
5% of all purchases
