Growing With God…
We have a
vision to see kids in our church experience God in a real way.
We want them to love Jesus and His house with all their heart.
We see our kids standing strong in faith, growing up with a sure
foundation and knowing that their God is awesome! Cross of
Christ is the place for this to happen, and our children’s
ministry staff and many volunteers are the ones who make it
happen.
Cross of
Christ offers young kids from nursery through 6th
grade a bright start to their amazing journey through life with
God. This means having access to an exciting range of activities
and programs specially geared to a child’s age and development.
It’s a safe, appropriately supervised, family-friendly,
kid-rocking environment that offers peace of mind to parents
too!
Rainbow
Room Nursery
has loving staff and volunteers who gently care for God’s
littlest lambs. We play, rock, feed (what a parent provides),
diaper, and love, love, love. SUNDAYS 8:30a – 1p
SonBeam
Preschool
provides kid-focused activities, crafts and stories that
communicate God’s love and lessons in our preschool room. Plus,
we visit our Theater for music and our gym for supervised play!
SUNDAYS 10:30a to 11:45a.
SonLight
Main Street
is for all kids in Kindergarten through 4th grade who
want excitement, fun, atmosphere and relevance in their
experience with God. There are games and activities, live
dramas, upbeat music, and time with adult Shepherds who make the
lessons and the love very real. Communion is served every week
for those children who partake (others receive a special
blessing). SUNDAYS 10:30a-11:45a.
SonLight
Central
focuses on applying Biblical truths to real-life questions and
situations that our 5th and 6th graders face in their everyday
lives. Our Shepherds lead spiritual discussions and prayer,
encourage deeper community, do activities to reinforce the
lesson, and join the kids for praise and communion. In addition,
the kids are offered access to a closed-community, secure web
site where they can look for clues about next week's lesson,
submit prayer requests, and talk with their SonLight City
friends. SUNDAYS 10:30-11:45a

The 4Cs (Cross of Christ Children’s Choir)
practice weekly during the school year and perform at least
monthly during Sunday services. Any child who is reading is
welcome to join. Music ranges from harmonious hymns to gospel
music to contemporary upbeat songs. WEDNESDAYS 5p-6p
Wednesday
Night Live
is a time
for kids to deepen their understanding combined with a big dose
of fun and fellowship. Every Wednesday, we'll have something for
everyone...nursery for the littlest ones, preschool activities
and classes from Kindergarten to 6th grade, with Confirmation
Class for 7th and 8th graders. A family-friendly dinner starts
the evening to allow families and friends to fellowship together
before class time. Adults can take advantage of some wonderful
educational offerings -- from Bible studies to financial classes
to DVD series. We have extended nursery time for parents with
kids from infant to 2nd grade in classes that run after 7:30pm.
No reservations or pre-registration required -- just come when
you can!
WEDNESDAYS 6:30p-7:30p
Upward Basketball
Program...
emphasizes
that “Every Child is a Winner.” Registration is held in November
for the season which is January through March. The program
creates a positive environment for children to experience
basketball or cheerleading, teaching fundamental basketball and
cheerleading skills in addition to good sportsmanship while
sharing the message of Jesus Christ. For specific dates, times
