Experience Is Everything…
The
Experience of God, that is. We’re talking about
experiencing everything God has to offer. Let’s face it.
There’s a lot of stuff we don’t like in our world…maybe even in
our own lives. There are the destructive forces of
selfishness, immorality, alcohol and drugs, prejudice and so
many other things that steal away the future. But God is
ready to lead the way. At Cross of Christ, youth in 7th grade through high school can
have a powerful future through the love of Jesus Christ. Throw
in a youth-only room with games and TV and it’s one big, fun,
amazing experience. Grab your friends, or just come on your own
and make a bunch of new friends.
SpotLight…Kids
in grades 7 and 8 gather to focus on applying God’s
everlasting truth to their everyday lives. Our volunteer team
and special guests will lead discussions and prayer, organize
activities to serve others, and sometimes just have fun with the
kids. WEDNESDAYS 6:30p-7:30p
The
Light…Teens (youth in 9th to 12th grades)
will meet to discuss the Way, Truth and Life. They gather in a
casual atmosphere, forming trusting relationships, giving each
other encouragement, and learning about the unconditional love
of God. WEDNESDAYS 6:30p-7:30p
In addition, we
offer Confirmation classes to youth who are in 7th grade and
above, preparing them to become adult members of the church.
