SonLight City

We invite you to discover the difference SonLight City can make in the life of your child.  SonLight City was created for children to enjoy themselves while they learn about God's shining love.  We teach basic Biblical truths and pack the learning process with engaging activities, contemporary music, memorable dramas and fun!  With your encouragement, our dedicated teams, and Gods love, your child will want to come back every week to SonLight City... it's Where Love Shines.

Our mission is to supplement the family by bringing children into the Kingdom of God and helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ.  We have a mandate to "Bring children out of the darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)

The Bible

SonLight City lessons will be inspired by the Word of God, Biblically sound, and relevant to children's lives today.

Relationships

Our team will look through the eyes of each infant, child, youth, and teen to create a ministry that reaches, teaches, loves children, and makes learning fun!

Safety

Parents trust us with their most precious possessions: their children.  Children thrive in an environment where they feel safe emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  SonLight City is committed to protecting your children and providing a safe and secure place where they can learn about Jesus.

For All Kids

What will your child experience during their time with us?

Rainbow Room Nursery (Birth to Age 2)

Our loving volunteers will rock babies and play with your little ones (we have age appropriate baby equipment and toys), demonstrating Jesus' unconditional love.  We also can feed a bottle and/or snack that you provide.  Diapers are changed when necessary.

Sunbeam Preschool (3 to 4 Year-Olds)

Your child will have a dedicated preschool room and loving team members who will lead them in fun with playtime, story time, music and crafts that encourage their first steps with Jesus.

SonLight Central (Kindergarten to 4th Grades)

During our time together we'll interact in the Lightning Zone (making/reinforcing friendships while playing games) and the Theater (with live drama and high energy worship music).  Then the kids move to Connecting Time, same-gender small group discussions and prayer with dedicated same-gender Shepherds from our team.

Spotlight SuperChurch (5 and 6 Grades)

Kids in this age group will focus on applying Biblical truths to their everyday lives.  Our team will lead spiritual discussions and prayer, encourage deeper community, organize activities to serve the needy, and sometimes just have fun with the kids.

The Light (9th to 12th Grades)

Teens will gather in The Upper Room, a casual atmosphere with couches and recreation activities, to form trusting friendships, encourage one another, find acceptance and love, and live eternally in God's light (Revelations 22:5).
